Telepathic Dumpster rocks.

Telepathic Dumpster’s Eugene debut at World Café.

Wow, what a great show. Like Woodstock, we brought unexpected hoards of people and World Café did a hell of a job getting great food and beer and generally excellent consumables out to the whole mess of us. Thank you to all who were there to move and sway to the grooves we laid down for you. Because of the good impression you helped us make on Bill at World Café, we’ve been invited back next Sunday, June 12, for a second show. Awesome: Telepathic Dumpster held over. It was such a joy to play an all ages show. There were little kids toddling around, bigger kids watching the power of this kick ass collaboration, and adults of all ages. I can’t believe how much fun this show and this venue was. Due to inclement weather we were forced to play indoors, but – weather permitting – next Sunday we’ll be out in the courtyard.

All the things that go into making a show work:

Our 1971 Volkswagen camper, Annabelle, came down with a faulty starter the day before the show. No time to get her into the shop, so every time she needed to go, we had to compression start her. Blessed be all the folks at Sam Bond’s who came out to our rescue as we were pushing her in the street after the show (to get the gear back to the rehearsal space). Another thanks to the guy at out storage unit who, after we got loaded up before the show, helped us get rolling fast enough to compression start before hitting the busy traffic on West 11th. The gods were smiling on us. Amen.
